Cornish lanes can get congested especially during the holiday season.
Our postcode is TR19 6JU. Coming from Penzance, Sat Navs will direct you via the B3283 through the village of St.Buryan. This road has narrow sections that frequently get blocked in summer, leading to long delays.
We advise you instead to keep on the A30 through Sennen, then straight onto Trevescan (do not follow satnav) where you should follow the brown tourist signs for The Minack Theatre and Porthcurno.
This is an essential route for coaches, large vehicles and any drivers not comfortable negotiating narrow Cornish lanes.
Parking is free for the duration of your visit, to those visiting the theatre or coming to a performance.
Electric Vehicle Charging
Access to the EV charging is for pre-booked visiting and performance ticket holders only, for the duration of their theatre visit. The charger is not accessible outside of visiting hours.
15 June - We apologise that our EV charging point is currently out of order. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
If you have an EV or Hybrid we have two 7kw 32amp charging points available in the car park – see Zap-Map.
If you’re planning a trip to The Minack, why not register with Carshare Cornwall. You could help the environment and make new friends at the same time!

Hire a Bike
Penzance Cycle Hire offers a choice of ordinary and e-bikes for touring and include a route map and directions to Porthcurno among their suggested cycle tours.
