Cornish lanes can get congested especially during the holiday season.
Our postcode is TR19 6JU. Coming from Penzance, Sat Navs will direct you via the B3283 through the village of St.Buryan. This road has narrow sections that frequently get blocked in summer, leading to long delays.
We advise you instead to keep on the A30 through Sennen, then follow brown tourist signs from Trevescan to Porthcurno and The Minack. This is an essential route for coaches, large vehicles and any drivers not comfortable negotiating narrow Cornish lanes.
Parking is free if you are visiting the theatre or coming to a performance.
Electric Vehicle Charging
If you have an EV or Hybrid we have two 7kw 32amp charging points available in the car park – see Zap-Map.
If you’re planning a trip to The Minack, why not register with Carshare Cornwall. You could help the environment and make new friends at the same time!
First KERNOW A1 service links Penzance and Land’s End and stops in Porthcurno, a ten minute walk from the Theatre.
The Minack Bus Service for Evening Shows
A dedicated bus service runs from St Ives to Minack, via St Erth and Penzance, with pick up points along the route, for all performances from May 18 onwards, except for the Proms concerts when the bus service is for the Sunday evening performance only.
This bus service is very popular and often sells out – so we advise you to book your seat when you buy your theatre tickets.
