A Blaze of Feather

18 Apr 2024 - 19 Apr 2024

Support: Dion Star

A Blaze of Feather craft cinematic, fractured folk in the supernatural heart of West Cornwall.

Their award-winning soundscapes translate the raw stone, heavy weather reverie of life at the end of land.

The band features a mercurial cast of musicians, thick as thieves through a lifetime recording & touring the world together - notably over a decade as Ben Howard’s live band and studio collaborators.

Cornish songwriter Mickey Smith’s oscillations through grief and hope have helped their music build a loyal independent following, with over 50 million streams to their name worldwide.

This unique night at the Minack represents an ultra-special homecoming for a band raised in these wild waters. On many levels, an evening not to be missed.

Both nights feature otherworldly support from Cornish artist Dion Star who is set to debut his stunning upcoming solo release.  Dion's experimental soundscapes are crafted from modular synths and tape loops that weave through worlds of ambient electronica. His musical work is well established as one half of acclaimed collaborators The Cornish Sound Unit, alongside renowned filmmaker Mark Jenkin.
