We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to engage with the performing arts and to express themselves creatively.

We work with people of all ages, and especially with young people in West Cornwall, through a wide range of activities and projects.

We also partner with other creative organisations, including Trelya, Cornwall Music Services Trust, The Writers' Block, British Theatre Academy, Manchester Musical Youth, MADE & Arthur's Club.

Here are a few examples of our past and current projects.

Everyone can take part in theatre

Creating a Play in a Day

Working with professional actors, directors and other creative artists, a group of people come together to rehearse and perform a play to an audience all in one day.

Supporting emerging writers in Cornwall

We’re thrilled to announce the winner of  the Minack & The Writers Block playwriting competition is Tori Cannell. A reading of her play You Never Saw Me will be performed by a professional cast & filmed for Playwright Laboratory later this year. Find out more about Tori and her writing journey here.

Singing is a shared experience

Each year we bring a group of local schools together to create a musical theatre performance on the Minack stage.  Find out about One Small Bird, our 2022 production and how we all worked together.
