Discover more about the Minack. Book on one of our special Guided Tours of the theatre. Places on each tour are limited and you will be provided with a headset to ensure that social distancing can be maintained.
Each tour will last about an hour and you are welcome to remain in the theatre afterwards to look round on your own.
Our tours include walking up and down long flights of steps around the theatre. However, some of them can still be enjoyed by people with limited mobility. If you have concerns about access or mobility, please contact our box office to check that this tour is suitable for your situation.
Mark Harandon has been delighting audiences for years, recreating the early story of the Minack in the character of Billy Rawlings, Rowena Cade’s gardener. Now he takes you on a very personal journey. Interweaving anecdotes handed down by the Rawlings family, he tells the human story behind the Minack: the tale of the long friendship between the artistic Miss Cade and the Cornish workman Billy, and how their unlikely partnership created a little piece of heaven on earth.
Track and Trace
In accordance with new Track and Trace rules, we are required to record the contact details of every adult member of your party when you visit the Minack or attend a performance. When you arrive, we’ll ask you to scan the track and trace app at the theatre entrance. If you don’t have the app, you’ll need to give your name and phone number. This information will not be used for any purpose other than the government’s Track and Trace programme. After 21 days, it will be destroyed.
