At the Minack we believe theatre is for everyone and that means taking part as well as sitting and watching. If you’ve always wanted to give it a go, don’t be shy, come along to one of our fun-filled summer holiday activities. Whether you’re five or seventy-five, it’s never too late to try something new!
Stories for All the Family
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 10.30am (school holidays only)
Join us for one of our storytelling mornings, relaxed performances suitable for preschool and primary age children, but fun for adults too! These shows are very popular. Advance booking is essential in summer.
Theatre Skills Workshops
Wednesdays 12am-2pm (school holidays only)
Actors spend their lives playing. Sounds good? Then join us and learn some classic theatre skills, such as music, dancing or stage-fighting, as well as performing on our stage and playing some great theatre games.
Meet Mr MacAulay
Fridays from 12am -2pm (school holidays only)
Mr Macaulay played Prospero in The Tempest, the Minack’s first ever production. 80 years later he has returned (performed by actor John Brolly) to recreate his favourite moments from the show. But he needs your help. Join him on stage and become a part of his unique performance.
Moving Heaven & Earth
Saturdays from 10am – 2pm (April – October) and Tuesday & Thursday mornings during the summer months.
Look out for Rowena Cade's gardener, Billy Rawlings, played by actor Mark Harandon, and share his stories of working with Rowena Cade and how they built the Minack.
