You can book tickets for all our events online, by phone or in person at the theatre. Here’s a few tips to help you, but if you have any questions about booking, please don’t hesitate to contact our Box Office team.
Theatre events: Ticket prices vary depending on the performance and where you choose to sit. For most matinee and evening performances ticket prices are from £12, except for music events which are priced separately. Children age 15 or under are half price.
Just visiting: Tickets to visit and for daytime storytelling shows are £6 for adults, £3 for age 12 – 15 and £1 for age 2 – 11.
Advance booking for storytelling shows is advised, especially during school holidays.
Where do I sit?
The Minack is not like other theatres. Our seating is on either grass or concrete terraces. Individual concrete seats can be selected when you book. On the grass terraces, you can choose which row to sit on but the exact position on the row will depend on the time you arrive, as the rows do not have marked seats on them.
Our auditorium is very steep and there are a lot of steps. If you are unsure about where to sit, please phone us and we’ll be happy to help.
We have an accessible balcony for those with limited mobility. If you have other seating requirements, please phone us to discuss your needs.
An induction loop is provided on the grass lower terraces and in the accessible balcony. Hearing enhancers are also available to borrow at the theatre on request.
If this is your first visit to the Minack, take a look at our handy tips for your visit, they’ll help you to be prepared!
For online booking just choose your show and the date and time of performance from the What's On page. You can select shows by date or genre.
Once you’ve logged in you can book for any available show. When you select a seating area the seating plan will appear and you can choose seats or a row to sit in.
You can book for multiple shows and pay for them all together. You will also be able to select whether to print the tickets yourself, have them posted to you or pick them up at the theatre.
The first time you book with us online, you will need to set up an account.
Don’t worry, it’s very straightforward – just your contact details and a password. Then any future tickets you buy, you can log straight in and won’t need to input your details again. You can also check your orders and amend your information, easily.
