The Barnstormers return to the Minack with a cast of over 50 performers to present Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s world renowned rock opera ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ in what will be its 40th anniversary year.

‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ is the story of the final six days in the life of Jesus Christ told through the troubled eyes of Judas Iscariot. One of the most popular and enduring works ever created for the musical theatre, this iconic show pulses with energy and contains some of the most well known musical numbers from the last 40 years – ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’, ‘Heaven on their Minds’, ‘Hosanna’, ‘Gethsemane’ and of course ‘Superstar’. This was the first collaboration between Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber and earned five Tony nominations.
